I thought for sure Jonathan would do it first. He's not as crazy as your Bruiser, but he is getting there!Lisa @ Boondock Ramblingshttps://www.blogger.com/profile/11430994283914399581noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-1718910811955685431.post-41762470685492898172009-05-14T21:05:00.000-05:002009-05-14T21:05:00.000-05:00I'm hoping that this book will motivate me to real...I'm hoping that this book will motivate me to really buckle down and start saving more. Except mine dont fall in slow-mo. Mine are running along and in the blink of an eye they are on the ground. I have no idea what has happened even though I have been watching.

Then there's Lion splitting his chin open, that was an education...
http://samster-dot-com.blogspot.com/2007/03/splitting-chins.html

I cried when I found out I was having a boy first time, after my daredevil brother I knew I was in for a life of crutches, fractures, lost skin and major bruising. I had no idea how I would cope. 4 years down too many to go... I think I might have to start whispering similar prayers for my two year old, he's taken to jumping off the taller pieces of furniture without a thought. A few months ago he scared the pants off me when he stood at the top of our six foot slide, reached for the first rung of the monkey bars and just hung there waiting for ??? mom to come charging to the rescue? That I did. I've yet to see the slow motion falling. You've got to get that on video. ;)Mrsbearhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/16338013137281543065noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-1718910811955685431.post-39940488123996844402009-05-12T11:30:00.000-05:002009-05-12T11:30:00.000-05:00Bruiser sounds just like my child. Every time I ran to go to the bathroom he would take it as an opportunity to get into something (I have video proof).

Once when he was about two he put his rocking horse next to the kitchen cabinet and put his plastic chair on top of the kitchen counter.

He was going to use them to climb up on top of the fridge to get at something I had put up there (a broken toy to be fixed).

By the way, when Bruiser gets to be 16 he will still have scratches and bruises, and he will still have cuts, he will still have scabs on his knees, and he will still say they are no big deal and he has no idea where they came from.....yup, that's MY child....why go around and take the easy way when you can push your way thru and get all banged up in the process.momsthewordhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/14519343990735608713noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-1718910811955685431.post-48395807895243018112009-05-12T09:46:00.000-05:002009-05-12T09:46:00.000-05:00You should try to catch it on video, that would be...You should try to catch it on video, that would be a great one to watch!!Jillianhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/09406330150466009949noreply@blogger.com
