So, while the boys were at school, I grabbed the camera and hoped for the best.
Do I dare enter?
Sweet Pea and I love it!
Check this out! I didn't touch a thing! This is how they leave it every morning. With a little prodding from me, of course. But, my boys can produce!
Dimples and Bruiser share a room. Bruiser loves sharing a room. Dimples has his moments.

They are so proud of their Colts poster.
Do you like how I chose the color of hand prints and footprints to paint on the walls? I got tired of washing the walls, so I decided to paint them the color of dirt. I am clever like that! I bet you never heard THAT on HGTV!
We try to keep this room clean and clutter free. What ever you do, DON"T OPEN THE CLOSETS! I'm just saying...
Now, on to Sweet Pea's room. Please keep in mind that she is our only girl and the youngest. When I found out I was having a girl, I started dreaming of decorating a little girl's room. However, we already had a bear themed nursery that was good enough for either gender.
So, I waited THREE MORE YEARS to go all out.
Here is the result:
Can you say PINK?!Sweet Pea and I love it!
Isn't this piece every little girl's dream? I made that feathered boa wreath on the right. I know it is over the top, but I waited THREE MORE YEARS!
Not a great picture, but you get the idea.
This is a bank. I am in love with it.
Her desk. Sweet Pea keeps asking when she will get a computer to put on it. Sweet Pea, can you say NEVER?!
I really like the shelves. Sweet Pea always calls girly things, "Beautiful!" I tried to put a little bit of her personality in the room.
Yes, Sweet Pea, I'll take a picture of you too. What, you're not wearing any pink?!

OK, OK, and some of mine. Remember: I waited THREE MORE YEARS!

Love Emma's room! :) Love the pink! Great job on all of it!!
How nice that the boys make their beds and keep their room so neat! I love the pink explosion in Emma's room! :-)
Wow, I can't believe I got behind by three posts. The squirrel rules are hilarious, freakin' hilarious. I must confess I would be holding my breath and praying for squirrels with the children. But mice are a different story, don't EVEN get me started.
Doggy sitting and ice cream Fun and Yum. My #7 is dying for a dog. Not happening!
Cute boys room! Love the dirt walls and the blue trim.
PINK, HOLY PINK! YOU GO GIRLS. LOVE IT! Easter dresses and a girl room, my only regrets about no girls. Sweet Pea you are so stinking cute!
Nice boys room but WOW on the pink room! I love all the girliness of it!
And go all out you did. It is a girls dream. The boys' room is impressive in how clean it is. I like the dirt(y) colored walls.
I'm impressed with how the boys leave their room every morning. You trained them well. There will be some young ladies who are going to love you in the future.
My daughters would have killed to have had Sweet pea's room.
As the mom of two boys, I too can relate to dreaming of a pink room. Hopefully someday I'll get to let my inner girl explode in the form of pink paint, feathers and tiaras...lol I LOVE it!
WOW. That room is Pink. Those pictures were bright. I think they burned my retinas. I Must look away.....
Do you have to wear sunglasses in that room or just squint a lot?
Dear Anonymous,
No, but we have to pinch our nose when we get near your mama!
(I am pretty sure that was the brother in law.)
NB
how cool that you have a Cameron, too! And two boys then a girl! :) Love your blog! :) Erin
HA! I love your painting strategy for the boys room, although I'm pretty sure your daughter's hand prints are never pink...unless she's dipping into the cotton candy. Okay, I love the pink...it's so pretty. So happy. Like having candy for dinner!
Mrs. Nurse Boy! I love, love, love the pink boa wreath. I am going to Hobby Lobby right now to get the stuff to make it. Also, the curtains are great. Cute family. God bless.
I love that boys room! I was having a freak out at 4 am yesterday (when I was booted out of my own bed and went and slept in the empty boys room) about the state of my little darlin's room. I think I need to recycle some of their box constructions, secretly.
Now onto that other room you showed us... HOLY PINKITY PINK PINK PINK!!!!! Did a fairy throw up in there???? Ahh, maybe I'll be decorating a girls room soon...
AHHHhhhahahahaha, see what I just did? I made you think "ooh, ooh, ooh, she's having a girl".
Ha Ha, still not telling!
Love the decorating in all the rooms! Especially the pink room!!!!! How fun is that!
The only girl I have is my dog, and I don't think she'd appreciate it anyway.
My kids used to share a room but Mr. Neat did not do so well with Mr. Not-so-Neat.
I expected their rooms to be neat and clean but I did expect a certain mess while they were actually playing in them.
But Mr. Neat didn't want their room played in and "messed up," ever!
Fortunately, we had a couple of spare rooms, and peace reigned once again the homeland when we gave them their own rooms, lol!
My moms uses dishcloths too. She lives with us but has her own kitchen so fortunately we can survive our own habits!
Love the pink room!!!
With three boys-
THIS is the room I can only dream of-too cute!!!!
wow!! I loooove the pink but I almost had to put my sunglasses on to look at it! now THAT is pink!! My niece had a room that was the same pink AND neon orange! Oh my!
I am soooo impressed with the boys' room, too! AND that they made their beds! Good for you, Mrs. NB for being diligent with them about this! You are a good mother!! *smile*
Your house is beautiful!
Thanks so much for taking the time to share this with us!! ((HUGS))
Wow! What responsible young men you have there! I spent 20 minutes cleaning up my 6 month old's room! haha!
I love the pink room! Perfect for your little princess--what a lucky girl! :)
Thanks for sharing!

What a fun pink princess room! I love it! I also love the bunkbeds for the boys! I can't wait to buy some for my oldest!
Thanks for the sweet compliments on Jesse's room...your rooms are too cute and I just love the pink in Emma's. Love the boa wreath too:) Your kids are adorable!!
WOW, love love that pink room. A mom after my own heart =) the boys room was great and I LOL about the dirt colored walls. Ingenius!!
I agree with all the above comments about how lovely and neat your boys' room is. You've trained them well.
And my girls would just love that pink room. Since we're with ADF we can't do any type of decorating other than hanging curtains, so that's something they'll have to wait until their dad leaves the army to achieve.
