See You at the Pole... 2011

Whenever two or three of you come together in my name, I am there with you.  Matthew 18:20

Today students all across our blessed nation gathered at their school's flagpole to pray for their school and
their community.

Dimples was so excited to spread the word at his elementary school.

Jesus said to them, "Go into all the world and preach the good news to all creation."  Mark 16:15
Give thanks to the Lord, call on His name; make known among the nations what He has done.
1 Chronicles 16:8
I love those who love me, and those who seek me find me.  Proverbs 8:17
Dimples eagerly lead his school in prayer.  Words cannot describe how proud we are of him!  He is confident in who he is in Christ.  May he and his siblings always walk in the knowledge of the Lord!
Afterward, Nurse Boy showered the kids with doughnuts and juice.
We pray all of the kids from this morning will come to know Christ in a personal way. May He shine brightly through each and every one of them!

Devote yourselves to prayer, being watchful and thankful.  And pray for us, too, that God may open a door for our message, so that we may proclaim the mystery of Christ...  Colossians 4:2-3

Amen! My kids and I used to go to See Ya at the Pole! I heard when our local one was and did remember to join them in prayer, though not at the pole. I was in my car.

This is a great post! Love that your son was in there leading the way!

I prayed at home because my car is on the fritz. :-(

I love this verse. It's so important for kids to know that "all the world" can mean "the kid sitting next to you at school"... You can be a missionary right where you are!

Praying mountains of blessings on your kids school and praying that they may be an influence for Christ in their school.

(and way to go Nurse Boy with the Donuts and juice... yummy!)

This just made my day.

My mom has been a children's pastor for forever (it seems), and always tells people not to underestimate that kids can have an amazing and personal relationship with God.

That is my greatest prayer for my son... to have that confidence in his Jesus and to share Him.

Wow... just wow.

And I remember those See You At the Pole dates at my school... happy flashbacks :)

Hello there!

I miss reading your posts. Busy....

Thanks for example of strength and faith.

"...For I pray continually for them by day, and mine eyes water my pillow by night, because of them; and I cry unto my God in faith, and I know that he will hear my cry." Book of Mormon
2 Nephi 33:3

That is my strength for those around me personally that don't belive or struggle in faith

I love you guys!

When we pulled up at school this morning my #5 said, "I'll say prayers this morning!" I'd forgotten that we started the tradition last year. Thank to God for the sweet faith of our little ones.

I was just popping in to say that we miss you guys. Ezekiel's been asking about ya'll all the time. And I'm so glad I did, because this is absolutely beautiful! LOVE that your big kiddo is so bold and open and excited about his faith! Hugs!

I hope that you are doing well. I had you & your family on my heart about a week ago & prayed for you all. I just haven't gotten around to check in on you. I see you have taken a blogging break. Me too, but still thinking of you. Hope all is well.
