Sweet Rolls and Sweet Talk

Mrs. Nurse Boy here.

This week I had the pleasure of having breakfast with this little sweetie:

'Cuz nothin' says "Good Morning" like a chocolate chip muffie and some ice cold milk.

I got to stare into those baby blues and chat about all things deemed important in the world of a 4 year old.

Yes, we talked about Dora.

We talked about her brothers.

We even talked about hair bows.

We were silly.

And, we were serious.

I love it when God reveals her little heart to me.  We talked about Jesus and His love for her.  She also had a bit of a heavy heart and asked me to pray with her.  I love watching her faith grow!  I just know God is going to answer her prayers.

After all she, too, has been an answer to prayer to this mommy!

God bless each and everyone of you!  May you know the true love He has for you!

I know you know this, but she is so beautiful.

I'm so glad you got some alone time with her. I remember my alone time with my mom as a child (we still get it time and again) and it means the world to me!

Such a sweet little pea you have. You've been on my heart for a few days now. How can I pray for you?

You are such an incredible mommy, I learn so much from your posts about the one on ones you spend with your little ones.

Thanks for your beautiful example. My love for Jesus has grown from knowing you.

She is a darling! I adore those pictures and her silly expressions!

How sweet to be able to pray with your little one... such a blessing to watch them grow in their own relationship with God.

And is it a boys vs. girls thing because when I get MY 4-year-old in a restaurant, it's no conversation except, "Honey, PLEASE do not empty the sugar packets into the fountain... Honey, please don't play peekaboo with the couple on the other side of the booth... Honey, why do you have to go pee-pee for the fourth time in 15 minutes?!?!" :)

What a wonderful breakfast companion. I love how you took the photos and they went so perfectly with the post.

Those eyes of her are to die for.

I'm so glad you can pray together.

Jonathan and my husband are such a gift to me too. . . but I love to be reminded!
