Ever since our children were little, we have ended each night with prayer and singing. Nurse Boy and I can't hold a tune to save our lives but, thankfully, none of that matters to our children or God! The most requested songs by our three munchkins? Amazing Grace and Jesus, Lover of My Soul. So, today I am sharing one of our favorite songs and pictures of some of my very favorite people... all precious gifts from God!
Jesus, I will never let You go
You've taken me from the miry clay
You've set my feet upon the rock
And now I know
I love you, I need you
Though my world may fall
I'll never let You go
My Savior, my closest Friend
I will worship you until the very end.
God bless you!!! Take some time to make a joyful noise unto the Lord... it may not sound beautiful to you, but it will to Him!!

Love this post and I love that you sing with them every night. We do the prayer thing...but not the singing...might have to start. Love that song! & the pictures of course.
Such beautiful, beautiful babies. :) I love that y'all sing too. We have a family prayer we say together at night, but we don't sing. However, we like to turn on the music and sing while we're doing chores (which is really ME doing the chores while they sing) and the boys LOVE Welcome to My Father's House, and a new one they all learned at VBS this year... I'm not sure of the name, but it makes me smile.
What a beautiful post. I love the pictures and the lyrics. You have absolutely beautiful kids.
Oh I love the song. The pictures are gorgeous too. Kids don't care if we carry a tune well, they just care that we are there for them and with them. Love the tradition.
Great pictures and a great song. Thanks for the inspiration and uplifting us all today.
So sweet:) I sing Jesus Loves You to Emerson every night! She loves it!!
Oh, your children are so beautiful!! They are! And so photogenic!!!
And I love that you sing with your children, too! Daniel and I always sang throughout the day while we were homeschooling and one of my most precious memories is of when he was entering his teen years and one night he lay in his bed, leafing through the hymn book we had at home, singing portions of the hymns as he went and the last song I remember hearing him singing was Amazing Grace. I fell asleep. I hold this memory so dear to my heart!
We all sing good when we harmonize with Jesus!
I was hoping for some pictures of the two other wonderful people in your beautiful family.
Thanks for your amazing example in parenting.
Thanks for sharing those beautiful pictures and the inspiring words! I needed a boost tonight!
