Things That Make Me Smile

A night of family fun during our annual carving of the pumpkins...

Lots of smiles...
Plenty of gooey fingers...
Lots of laughter...
Steady hands...
Delightful creations...
Plenty of patience...
And, most importantly, finished products!!!

I always hated the gooey fingers.

It's a shame that folks work so hard making jack-o-lanterns only to have teen age punks smash them on the road. There are currently lots of smashed pumpkins around here.

I love NB's Batman pants. Buddy would love to have some like that!

Great pumpkins. It looks like the kids enjoyed the festivities!

Yes, I noticed Mr. NB's batman pants, too! Nothing like being in costume for the pumpkin carving! :-)
I've never enjoyed carving pumpkins. I know, I know..what is wrong with me! Neither does Ed but I always carved pumpkins with Daniel UNTIL we painted them one year, instead! They lasted forever! One year they lasted until Easter! I'm not kidding! I had two cute painted pumpkins sitting by my piano in the living room on Easter! They were so cute I just couldn't bear to toss them out but DID! I mean, what would the Easter Bunny think? LOL
Loved seeing your memory-making!!
CAN YOU BELIEVE GRETCHEN WON PROJECT RUNWAY!?!?!? OH.MY.WORD.

Funny! I always carve a moon and stars on at least one pumpkin.

So much fun!
