Well, let's just pretend that week never even happened, shall we?
I already feel better.
So, now that we all agree that last week never happened, let me share some pictures of an exciting event that happened last weekend (or the weekend before last, but WHATEVER)...
We took the kids to...
The Great Wolf Lodge!!!!
(Thanks to a Christmas present from Grandma & Grandpa Nurse Boy.)
Great Wolf is a local hotel with an indoor water park. I believe all of my kids would agree that it is a little slice of heaven during a dreary, cold, snowy winter.
We spent the first day getting wet...
and we spent the evening in our pajamas for story time, hot chocolate, movies, family time and rest.
Bright and early the next morning, the kids couldn't wait to swim some more...
Our toes and fingers looked like prunes, but no one cared...
Yes...
Fun...
Was Had...
By...
ALL!!!!

well, that just looks awesome!
Super cool! I wish we had a place like that around here!
It sounds like a perfect way to spend a dreary winter day! I also love how you titled your picture with Mr. Nurse Boy in it as "The Kids" !! :) LOL
The "refraction" through that inner tube makes my six pack look like a keg! I am much more chisseled in person right?

So much fun! We've never been to GWL, but we took the boys to another indoor place here in Michigan in October and they had an absolute blast!
What an awesome gift! I would love a winter get away like that. I want some sunshine. We got a little storm
yesterday morning, it is on your way. Sorry
Great pics!

Looks like a blast! I would LOVE to do something like that... but hearing aids and water aren't exactly friends. And my 4-year old is nutso and hates water.
And my redneck husband would refuse to don swimming trunks.
Though I don't know why he wouldn't want to show off his chiseled physique with Mr. NB. (Who totally cracked me up with that comment. I mean, commentS! :)
