My brother works with my son's idol, Gary Lezak. Gary is a local weather man who is also known for taking his dogs to work with him. Dimples got to go to the station last week to meet Gary and Stormy. Dimples loves the weather and can tell you the highs and lows each and every day, HOUR BY HOUR.
I pretend I am fascinated. He really is.
Uncle Kelly arranged a special one-on-one meeting for Dimples. He got to answer the phones, play on the green screen, spend time with Stormy (the dog), and watch Gary in action. It was quite possibly the highlight of his summer.
Here is Dimples watching Gary hard at work.
Dimples loved the fact that Gary took some time to show him the ropes.
What do ya think? Do we see a new weather man in the making?
Here he is answering the phone and talking to another local weather man who was in search of Gary.
Thank you Uncle Kelly and Gary for a memory that will last a lifetime!

That is so cool! What a great experience. I think we may just see that cute face on the TV one day.
FANTASTIC!! What a neat experience for him. Ya know, that Dimples does have a good face for TV . . . you may have a meteorologist on your hands!
Wow- that is awesome! And I must know- what does "Poop on Jelly" mean? What's the story?
SOOO cute! I love that he got to meet his idol! What a fun story. I'm sure he'll tell everybody all about it at school!
Foursons,
Peanut butter and jelly is a main staple around here. When bruiser was a couple years younger he would say peanut butter and jelly fast and it sounded like poop on jelly. I am a GI nurse and think anything with poop in the title is great, so that is what we named our blog.
Mr. Nurse Boy
What a great experience! Most adults would love that, too....like me!!!
Ahhh, they have the same smile. I think Dimples would be an adorable weather man.
Thanks for the Birthday Wishes you two. Hugs to my blogging buddies.
OH HE'S SO CUTE ON TV!!!! and in real life... or blog life... I'm confused. I reckon if he becomes a weather man he'll have all the ladies swooning over the nightly news!
What a fun experience for him!
Aw, how cool is that? Nice job, uncle! I think Dimples has found his calling. Although I have to admit, I don't know too many young boys that are fascinated with the weather. lol.
VERY COOL! I loved the play on words in your post's title!
My grandmother-in-law is obsessed with Gary and allllllllways talks about him and his dogs. I dare not let her in on the details that the child of someone I know met him in person! She may suspect him of cheating on her.
That is the coolest story!! Love when good men help good boys who one day will be a great man partly because of experiences like these.
How wonderful was that??!
He will remember this day forever...
There's a memory that will last a lifetime. Way cool.
Very, very cool!
