Response to Monday's Post

Dear Mrs. Nurseboy,
First I want to say thank you for the post yesterday. As you know my love language is words of affirmation and that post made me feel very loved. I did not cry because because I am dead inside, but I did manage to wipe away a few imaginary tears like Jake from the Bachelor. I want everyone who reads this to know that everything that Mrs. Nurse Boy said is true. Every last nice thing. Before you get mad at your spouse because he is not perfect like me, you should know that she caught me being good like 10 times over the last 13 years and included every one of those times in that post.

Mrs. NB, Thank you for noticing those times though and remembering them. I of course have a lot of flaws. Fortunately you make up for most of them. I am so blessed to have a wife who wants to work with me not only at home but in our entire life. Our kids are fortunate to have parents on the same page because you make sure we communicate about them. We are fortunate to enough to have a great marriage because our marriage is a priority to you. I am successful at work because you support me and make it so I have flexibility to go the extra mile when needed. I am not saying I have nothing to add to those things, but we are a partnership and I appreciate what you bring to the table.

You are the love of my life and I am proud to be your husband.

So now that is done and people can go on to reading this blog without feeling nausea.

Awwww, you guys! I don't feel so bad knowing Daddy Bub isn't the only mushy, gooey, lovey-dovey, etc., person out there. I must leave now and keep my nausea at bay. ;)

All I gotta say, to both of you, is
LUCKKKKKKKKKYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYY! (Okay, don't throw a fit, you can replace lucky with 'blessed' if you must, but sometimes, though such things as you both wrote about are huge blessings from God, you are just both lucky ducks to have those blessings!) :)

Happy VD- to you and all the aspiring hubbies out there! You are amazing!

I was actually a little disappointed in Mrs NB's post. She didn't even mention how adorable you are in your 4th of July shorts and Indiana Jones hat.

Now stop being so nice to each other that's not why I'm thinking of hitchhiking east to meet you two in real life.

Love ya both!

I knew you were dead inside. I can tell by the way you write about your family as if you hate them.

(I'm known in my family for sarcasm. I'm sure you can't tell.)
