Things That Make Me Smile

Mrs. Nurse Boy here.

So, it is no secret that we have some cute kiddos. At least, I think so. I may or may not be a little partial. (OK. I am VERY partial, but facts are facts people.) What you may or may not know is that we have some sweet kiddos. No, not all the time, but most of the time.

The other day I caught some sweetness on camera that put a huge smile on my face.

OK, I laughed out loud.

My ultra "cool" 4th grader was having a tea party with his sister. Complete with ice cold water, imaginary rainbow cake, and all things pink. And, let's not forget the baby dolls and ponies that happily joined them. I just love how this kid can ever-so-carefully choose his outfit, meticulously comb his hair, and search around for his cheap cologne each and every morning, yet come home and happily let his little sister boss him around at the tea table.

She is crazy about her big brother and so am I.

Now, that makes me smile!

That is too cool. My brother always played house with me and I played army and war with him.

Okay, that was majorly sweet and it made me smile too. While blinking back tears.

What a gift - to have children that love eachother.

Isn't that the heart of every mom? Your kids are beautiful inside and out.

You're doing something right :)

Oh wow. That is awesome. I keep hoping that Buddy will someday accept and be nice to his brother. I see it more frequently now than before, but it's still too infrequent.

Is this the same kid who was SO bored at the barbie exhibit he looked like he'd fall asleep!?!

I hope little sweet pea is feeling better today!

Hi Mrs. Nurse Boy -- You left a comment on my blog about my muffins... well, the pictures ended up being better than the muffins. So, add some spices and more sugar! :)

Pat him on the back. He's learning early the value of being a good playmate. When he has a daughter of his own, she'll want him to have tea parties with her (been there, done that). Grandkids will too.

I would wear camo to a tea party too. I didn't know that I had two sisters!

I LOVE it when my older two boys play with the little one-
They let him play legos with them, and he takes apart the lego guys, and it makes them so mad...so when they are all playing nice, I smile!

Very, Very cute!!!!
