Things That Make Me Smile

Mrs. Nurse Boy here.

Each week I plan to start posting on something that just plain makes me smile. Ya know, some of my favorite things. Things that can brighten my day or make me smile even on those days when I am not feeling so smiley.

This week it is a plaque we found in a little unique shop of antiques and gifts in the historical town that the Nurse Boy and I snuck off to this month. Once I spotted it, I knew I must have it!

~It was the right color. (Matches my curtains in my family room/dining room.)

~I do love to collect angels. No real reason, they just make me feel happy.

~It put into words how I feel about my children.

~And, mostly, my husband thought it was a little cheesy. (I don't know why that is a reason, but it felt like a challenge to me. I knew he would like it once we got home and hung it in the perfect spot.)

~Plus, it now reminds me of our little getaway.

Yep, it makes me smile!

A LOT cheesy. But if it makes you smile it is worth the cheese. Plus I don't remember how much is cost now so I am no longer apalled.

You are so awesome. Children are angels aren't they, most of the time.

I think you found the perfect spot for it. I still, when I am rich, want to have you and Boy Mom come and decorate my home.

Go to AOL music and search for the music video "Don't You Know You're Beautiful",Kellie Pickler. My Lil' loves to dance and sing with it. I think Sweet Pea will love it too.

I like cheezy decorations.

I think it looks great, and I love the idea behind it.
