Randomness... on a Tuesday

Mrs. Nurse Boy here.

I have been off of a schedule for so long that I seem to have lost my "bloggy groove." Normally, I enjoy posting random thoughts on Mondays. Lately, my Mondays have been so random that I haven't even gotten around to posting. I am hoping to get myself back on a schedule. This blog is really our Family Scrapbook. I enjoy posting pictures and funny "snap shots" of our lives, so one day our children can look back at our memories. I am blessed that anyone else even bothers to read this!

So, today I am attempting to get back into a routine. And, before I do that, I MUST tell you that I will be having a giveaway NEXT week. It promises to be a FANTASTIC giveaway. I am thrilled that a company wanted to bless my readers. I will reveal the date of the giveaway this Friday. I am so excited that I have an opportunity to give something back to my faithful readers. I can't wait!

Now, time for some randomness:

**I was rear ended on Memorial Day. Car accidents immediately rob you of your time, money, and they are simply a pain in the... bumper! It feels like my van will never get fixed.

**However, there is something I hate more than a fender bender. That is the search for a new car. We are currently trying to scrape up enough cash to buy a used mini van. It honestly gives me hives just thinking about it. We haven't had a car payment in 7 years and I sure don't want to take one on now with Nurse Boy in school. But, Nurse Boy's car in on it's last leg. I fear it most go soon, or we will be towing it to a junk yard.

**We once bought a 2 year old mini van that didn't run after 5 days of owning it. I think that explains the hives. Surely that can't happen to us more than once, right?!

**Yesterday I found toothpaste on the toilet seat. I don't even want to know...

**I recently bought some "all natural" deodorant. I didn't realize that it would truly make me smell "all natural." Not quite what I was going for. Apparently, all of those ingredients I can't pronounce in my stick of deodorant actually give me the results I am looking for.

**Why must I spend every Sunday morning in the bathroom with the ENTIRE family?!

**It turns out orange pop and cameras are not a good combination. (More on this another day.)

**I love late summer nights. It is those early summer mornings I could do without.

**God did promise not to flood the earth again, right? We have had so much rain lately, that I am beginning to wonder.

**Lastly, why is it that every time I mop the kitchen I seem to find my own foot stuck to the floor an hour later?

Happy Tuesday everyone!

Maybe the foot stuck has something to do with the orange pop? Either that or having 3 kids home for the summer. If all else fails, you might have used too much cleaner. My floors do that too.

All natural deoderant, huh? Remind me to come visit after you've bought the 'unnatural' stuff!! :) I bought some sort of natural shampoo and conditioner yesterday and it smells minty. I wonder if that's normal? It did a nice job though.

Car shopping stinks. I'm going to have to do that very soon too. I actually have an appt this afternoon to look at a mini van. I hope your car shopping adventure proves fruitful!

Blessings,

Tuesday is a great day to be random! So, I don't think I've ever asked... what is Nurse Boy in school for? I assume he's furthering his medical career? Anyhow, hats off to him for working and going to school. It's a hard thing to do.

Well, good luck with the van hunting. Boo to a car payment.

I'm excited about the giveaway! :)

Oh your van sounds like mine. I was praying for an excuse to get a new one. Wanna run into the back of mine. LOL It can be in Park. LOL
Oh we had that rain too. Crazy.
Everytime I wash the kitchen floor it gets spilled on. Yep big fun.

I'm so with you on the sticky floors. The last time I mopped, I actually ended up getting on my hands and knees because of all the sticky stuff on the floor. Blech.

Good luck with the car search!

It's been crazy rainy here too. I've mowed the grass twice in the last three weeks. Know anyone who needs some hay?

We had to buy a car the week following paying off my truck. It would have been nice to go a month without a car payment.

FYI-You won't stick to the floor if you wear teflon shoes.

Yeah, seems like cars get wrecked right when they are fixed doesn't it? Hope all the car stuff works out! That can't be any fun at all! I'd say more tonight but I'm hungry. I didn't eat anything substantial today and now I'm hungry. Probably why I can never lose weight!

HELLOOOOO, Mrs NB!!! I have missed you!!! I was so excited to read your randomness!!! :-)
I know, I know....I need to get a life! But I HAVE a life! :-)
Anywayyy....I wish you lived closer because we buy all of our vehicles from a friend who has a car lot/ junkyard. He buys cars at auctions that have been wrecked but have very little damage. He repairs them and resells them at greatly reduced prices!
He does a fantastic business with all of the local people here. Daniel and Erin got their vehicles from him, too.
He's looking for a car for Erin at the present time. I don't know what kind but often he can find a particular model if you are wanting it.
Anywayyyyy.....having a car payment after that long is going to stink! I will be praying that you find a good cheap vehicle! In Jesus' Name! He knows just what you need!!!

I actually use a natural deod that works BETTER than ANY other I've ever tried (natural or not). Brand Name: Alvera. I've converted a number of people, lol. Including my husband (who swore he'd never use a roll-on).
